Alexander Rieder was raised in Luxembourg and holds French, Canadian, Austrian, and Luxembourgish passports. This international identity shaped a global perspective that influences how he approaches creation, value, and culture. After studying in Boston and San Francisco at Hult International Business School, he moved to New York to build something of his own.
He launched Kayoux as a private jewelry manufacturing service focused on rare stones, custom pieces, and discreet sourcing. Kayoux supports both individual clients and jewelry designers in bringing unique creations to life, offering a tailored experience from concept to final piece.
But his vision extended beyond the world of jewelry. With Ôvae, Alexander began rethinking the place of diamonds entirely. He sees them not just as symbols of luxury, but as raw material for artistic expression. Ôvae invites diamonds into unexpected forms, paintings, sculptures, objects…creating a new language that blends emotion, rarity, and visual power. It is a project built to challenge tradition and expand how we experience one of the world’s most iconic materials.

Ayush Godhani is a third generation Indian diamond manufacturer who grew up in his parent's diamond manufacturing factory and obtained a hands-on, from-the-ground-up diamond education. He observed his father and uncles as they polished raw stones into faceted diamonds of all shapes and sizes. Ayush then traveled around India and the United States, selling diamonds worth millions of dollars to retailers and wholesalers. His global ties are still strong today.
Ayush was thrilled to learn of Surat's rapid success and chose to return to New York with all of their expertise and experience in the diamond and fine jewelry industries. His considerable experience translates into an outstanding, intimate experience for you that is unlike any other wholesaler in India. Perhaps this is why some of their clients include music industry heavyweights, professional sports, and entertainers.
